The 8 best polymer producers for Europe in 2017 awarded by the Polymers for Europe Alliance

During the Gala Dinner of the Annual European Meeting of EuPC and ANAIP on 1 June 2017, the eight winners of the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2017 were announced. The Polymers for Europe Alliance congratulates the winners of this European-wide customer satisfaction survey which reflects their contribution to the plastics value chain.

The 8th overarching award on DELIVERY RELIABILITY covering all polymer types was handed to Borealis.

In the remaining seven polymer categories the following companies were awarded:

For the second time, the Polymers for Europe Alliance has launched the voting for its Best Polymers Producers Awards. Starting in February 2017 for in total three months, users of polymers all over Europe rated their suppliers’ performances from mid last year up to now regarding the five criteria Polymer Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Delivery Reliability, Communication and Innovation.

The opening date for the next voting round of the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2018 will be announced in September 2017.

About Polymers for Europe Alliance

The Alliance was initiated by the European Plastics Converters association (EuPC) during its General Assembly in May 2015. It is an online, confidential information platform open to all parties who have an interest in the competitive conversion of polymers in Europe. Its objectives are to provide factual public information on the status of the polymer supply situation in Europe and to re-establish a constructive dialogue with the supply base.

Initiatives of the Alliance include the annual Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe as well as several studies like an exploratory industry study to assess the level of competitiveness of the European plastics converting industry.
