The rating tool is easy to understand, extremely user-friendly and provided in several languages in order to reach out to as many polymer users in Europe as possible.

How does the Awards voting work?

Once you have accessed the rating tool, you can choose your two best suppliers in each of the 8 different polymer type categories HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PC, PET, PP, PS and PVC. Once selected, you can then rate them according to the 5 criteria Delivery Reliability, Polymer Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Communication and Innovation.

Based on the average of the incoming ratings, the best European polymer suppliers per polymer type will be awarded. Furthermore, a 9th overarching award on Delivery Reliability, covering all polymer types, will be made.

Awards Ceremony during EuPC Gala Dinner

The winners will be exclusively announced at the Awards Ceremony that will take place during the Gala Dinner of the EuPC (European Plastics Converters) Annual Meeting in Madrid on 1 June 2017.

About Polymers for Europe Alliance

The Alliance was initiated by the European Plastics Converters association (EuPC) during its General Assembly in May 2015. It is an online, confidential information platform open to all parties who have an interest in the competitive conversion of polymers in Europe. Its objectives are to provide factual public information on the status of the polymer supply situation in Europe and to re-establish a constructive dialogue with the supply base. In 2016, the Alliance also initiated the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe which are now organised on an annual basis. In this Europe-wide online customers’ satisfaction survey all users of polymers in Europe can rate their best suppliers of the year.
